October 2008 On 13th October 2008, the merger of Pöyry Environment GmbH and Pöyry GKW Germany GmbH was officially entered into the Trade Register. The name of the new company is Pöyry Environment GmbH. Our national and international business is now combined in one company. |

| NEW PROJECTS | ||
Pöyry Environment GmbH has been awarded with the contract as owners engineer for the Waste Water System of Dibba, Emirate of Fujairah, UAE. The project includes design works and construction supervision of a wastewater treatment plant and the sewerage and treated effluent networks for Dibba. In addition, Pöyry Environment GmbH executes the design for the extension of the wastewater treatment plant in Fujairah. The Fujairah and Dibba projects are developed under a BOT approach being the first privately owned waster water collection and treatment systems in the UAE and the Middle East. |
